Allium nigrum
- Loved by Pollinators
- Good for Cutting
- Loved by Garden Birds
- Naturalises
The best of all alliums for naturalising in grass, robust, long-season flowering, impressive yet also with simple, wild flower looks
This is ideal for giving height and scale to late spring/early summer white-themed planting schemes too.
Allium petals are edible, you can scatter them on salads. We use the more delicate types like cowanii and unifolium most often at Perch Hill.
On occasion we may need to send you an alternative variety to the one shown, which will be selected by our growing team to ensure its suitability. It will be of equal or greater value to the original. Please contact our customer service team if there are any problems.
