The softest primrose pot marigold, or calendula, its heart and petal tips fringed crimson
'Snow Princess' is even hardier than the already hardy other calendulas, so can be sown very early in spring or in the autumn for late spring-flowering. Calendula flowers are edible with a delicious, peppery taste. Add to salads and soups for flavour and colour.

- Sow under cover March-April. Sow direct April-May and/or late August-September. This will self-sow in ideal conditions though resulting seedlings many vary.
Care Tips
Grow in well-drained soil in sun to partial shade. As well as the cutting garden they also work well among a range of plants in a mixed herbaceous border or in pots. Keep picking or deadhead to ensure flowers until the first frosts.
