Description

An alternative to the traditional green-leaved variety with glossy foliage in shades of purple and dark green. A classic all-rounder and a popular hedging variety ideal for clipping and keeping in shape. Clipping will help the plants to keep their leaves through winter and encourages a dense, year-round screen. Brilliant for providing a wildlife safe site for shelter and nesting. Good for smaller gardens.

Care Tips

Medium sized hedging that can be easily clipped and maintained to 1.5m. Growth rate 30 - 60cm per year. Trim in late summer to ensure the brown, winter foliage remains on the hedge. A hard prune, if necessary, can be carried out in February.
