There have been many new hydrangeas released over the last few years, but none as dramatic as this one

The dark purple (almost black) leaves hold their colour throughout the growing season and are complemented by rich, cranberry-coloured blooms with contrasting white centres through the summer. Great for the border and brilliant for container growing.

Care Tips

Remove faded flowerheads in spring after the danger of frosts, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds and take out misplaced or diseased shoots. Prune to the ground for a shorter, sturdier plant or less harshly for a taller plant.
