- Sow direct, every 4-6 weeks or under cover in modules from early spring to early autumn. Later sowings can be overwintered in a polytunnel or greenhouse. Sow seed thinly, do not cover. Harden off before planting outdoors after the frosts.

May be grown as a cut-and-come-again baby leaf crop or thinned to 15cm (6in) for larger plants.
