- Sow undercover March-November. Direct sow April-October. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Cover seed thinly and place outdoors somewhere frost-free. Germination may take up to 3 months.
Care Tips
Prefers a partially shaded spot so ideal for a woodland border. Will tolerate drier positions in shade, and full sun in moist soils. Displays are much more effective planted in groups of 3. Established plants may be divided in spring.
