Camassia 6

Camassias are one of the most tolerant and long-lived bulbs you can grow in the border, in pots, or naturalised in grass. They are a wonderful sight in the spring when their brilliant firework spikes emerge in pure white and vibrant sky blue and violet. If camassia bulbs are left undisturbed they will gradually multiply making them perfect for naturalising in grass or transforming a rough lawn. Plant a selection of different camassias in your borders for flowers from April until June. They make excellent cut flowers too, just remember to condition them overnight in water.
