[COURSE ITINERARY]- Perch Hill Dahlia Day - 30 years of growing and now breeding dahlias

| Morning Session 1 | 10:30am — 11:30am | Meet Sarah and Josie. Sarah will explain the remarkable dahlia trialling and breeding programme that’s been running at Perch Hill for the last 10 years. |
| Break | 11:30am — 11:50am | Coffee/tea and home-made cake |
| Morning Session 2 | 11:50am — 1:00pm | In this session, Josie and Sarah will talk you through what makes a brilliant dahlia – focusing on varieties of colour, vase life, pollinator interest and flowering performance. Before breaking for lunch you will be taken through the garden to see the dahlia beds. |
| Lunch - 2 Courses | 1:00pm — 2:15pm | Served in the greenhouse. The team in the kitchen use recipes from Sarah's cookbooks and produce from the garden wherever possible. This will be served with home-made cordial and there will be time for shopping after lunch. |
| Demo | 2:15pm — 3:00pm | Led by Sarah, this session includes practical demonstrations showing you how we use dahlias in arrangements. |
| Practical | 3:00pm — 3:30pm | make your own hand-tied bunch to take home. |
| Private Wander | 3:30pm — 4:00pm | Time for shopping and private wander |
