Cornflowers

No country garden is complete without its cornflowers - loved by pollinators, brilliant as cut flowers, and they make superb buttonholes. You can dry them too, for natural confetti or pot pourri. Cornflowers can be perennial or annual and, when sown from seed, make a fabulous addition to the garden. They're a magnet for pollinators too, who will zoom in on the showy thistle-like flowers. Our range of cornflower seeds includes the classic bright blue, but we also have deep crimson and raspberry shades as well as more pastel varieties, all of which will fill a sunny corner for weeks.
