Spend a late-summer day exploring Perch Hill at its most abundant, with vibrant borders, overflowing cutting gardens and dahlias in every shape, size and colour. 

August is one of the most abundant times of year at Perch Hill. The dahlias are at their peak, filling the garden with colour, texture and extraordinary variety, from long-standing favourites and exclusive introductions to the newest trial varieties. 

It's not only the dahlias taking centre stage. Half-hardy annuals are in full flow, the Oast Garden is rich with late-summer colour and height, and the vegetable garden is overflowing with harvests of tomatoes, peppers, herbs and more, much of which will find its way onto the menu in the Barn Café. 

Wander the gardens at your own pace, soak up ideas and inspiration, enjoy delicious seasonal food and experience Perch Hill at one of its most beautiful moments of the year. 

Open Day Information 

• Morning garden visit: 9.45am–12.45pm 
• Afternoon garden visit: 1pm–4pm 
• Barn Café and shop open all day until 4pm

10am–11am: Sarah shares what's happening in the gardens and what the team are working on throughout the season. 

Lunch 
Lunch is served in our new greenhouse at 12pm, 1.15pm or 2.30pm. Please select your preferred lunch time when booking. 

Please note: if you wish to attend both Sarah's talk and lunch, select the 12pm lunch option as part of a morning visit.
