- Sow under cover March-May, 2 seeds 1cm (1/2 in) deep into pots or modules. Remove weaker seedling if both grow. Plant out May-July, when seedlings are about 7cm high, spacing 60cm apart.
Care Tips
Choose a sheltered position with fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Prepare the soil in early spring by adding plenty of well rotted farmyard manure. Protect from cabbage white butterflies and water well after planting.
