I adore this mix. The foliage arching over the side of the pots pictured here is Crocus 'Flower Record', whose flowers cheer us up in February followed by the leaves to soften the tulip collection AND hide the black plastic pot neatly fitted inside the terracotta to ensure a quick flower succesion. Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto. Tulip 'White Valley' is a favourite for this.
